June 29th, 2007It’s all about personal branding, and there’s no better way to brand yourself than to blog, out in public, out in the open where the whole world can see what you’re doing and can begin to associate what you’re doing with who you are. Which is why I created JobMob, my site about finding Israel Jobs.
What are some of the reasons to blog?
- Personal branding - explained above
- Help other people - on my site at http://jobmob.co.il/, I try to help people find jobs whether their unemployed or not
- Become a news source - report news in your area of expertise
- Make people laugh - tell jokes
- Grow a community - bring people together
- Earn Money - advertise/affiliate marketing
- To document products - tell the world about something you’ve created
- Publicize events - create hype
- A public diary or journal - instead of it being hidden under your bed
- Because it’s fun - speaks for itself
